Expanding Our Surveying Services

CESO is excited to announce the appointment of Hugh (Rusty) Rogers III, PLS, as the Senior Project Manager for surveying services in our Charlotte, North Carolina office. With over 13 years of experience supporting public and private clients, Rusty is a seasoned professional with a deep-rooted passion for surveying.

Rusty's interest in surveying was driven by his curiosity about comprehending and navigating the environment around him. His appreciation for the mathematical and legal foundations inherent in surveying principles influenced his decision to pursue this career.

He will spearhead the expansion of our surveying services in the Carolinas region, a service line new to our Charlotte office. His strategic goals include supporting the growth of our organization by broadening our surveying capabilities to reach our current residential client base while extending our services to commercial, municipal, and industrial clients in the region.

Rusty and his team bring a wide range of project experience and technical expertise to their roles. As the first ones in and last ones out on projects, the work they perform for clients is critical to successful project outcomes. Their services span from preliminary tasks like boundary, topographic, ALTA / NSPS, FEMA, and utility surveys to construction layouts and post-construction services such as as-built, platting, and right-of-way surveys. Their efforts are aided by state-of-the-art technology to provide accurate and streamlined results, utilizing tools such as total stations, global navigation satellite systems, terrestrial 3-D scanners, small unmanned aerial systems, and digital collectors."

Before joining CESO, Rusty held various senior positions within the surveying industry, where he successfully managed a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from residential developments to infrastructure projects. His expertise in project management, client relations, and technical proficiency will be invaluable.
