CESO has been awarded Speedway’s Business Partner of the Year! Speedway’s Business Partner of the Year program is designed to recognize businesses that do an outstanding job of supporting Speedway in various areas of their business. The selection criteria are based on exemplary performance in the areas of quality, technology, cost, innovation, flexibility, and service. In early February of this year, CESO was nominated and selected as a finalist in the Retail Support Partner of the Year. At the awards dinner on March 24th, it was announced that CESO won the Business Partner of the Year award in our category. The Speedway program is truly a story of companywide success in working across all of our offices because someone in every single office has contributed to the program at some point over the past year. The CESO Dayton office has been recycling office and plan paper for over ten years; however, recently our usual recycling provider had to abruptly stop providing services. Over 18 months ago, CESO’s Community Involvement Team became aware of a young family’s desperate need for housing in Appalachia Kentucky through the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP). We committed to design the house plans and financially support the building of a new home for this family, and CAP volunteers committed to work diligently on the home build. At this point, the HVAC, electric and plumbing are complete and the drywall is in process.
